Teleseminar: Developments in Mediator Ethics

The Michigan Bar Association is hosting an important teleseminar for mediators and advocates who want to learn about recent developments in specific ethics topics. This include Mediator Standards of Conduct, conflicts of interest and disclosures, lessons learned from recent cases and an ABA Opinion, and what the future holds for possible changes to mediator court rules and standards.

The seminar will feature three outstanding experts: Anne Bachle Fifer (mediator, trainer, and board member with Peacemaker Ministries, and mediator, trainer, and former board member with the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan), Dale Ann Iverson (founder and principal of JustMediation PLC), and Donald Campbell (shareholder at Collins Einhorn, adjunct professor of law at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and former associate counsel with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission). The seminar will be mediated by Michael S. Leib of Leib ADR LLC, Bloomfield Hills.

Cost: $10 for ADR section members and law students; $40 for all other registrants. Register by May 15, 2020.
