SEDRS receives grants to create Family Resource Clinic
This fall, SEDRS received several major grants that will help bolster the work we are doing in our communities.
In September, we were awarded a Jackson Community Foundation Systems Change Grant for $11,000 to support a Domestic Relations virtual clinic, which we will call the Family Resource Clinic. We are working with Legal Services and the Family Services/Children’s Aid Guardian Wrap Around program to host up to 4 hours of virtual problem-solving space for the Jackson County Region. Additionally, a grant from the Human Service Coordination Alliance of Jackson will allow us to add a Conflict Coach to the Family Resource Clinic. This will help enhance conflict management structured services in Jackson County.
Additional grants are forthcoming, including a grant to fund a Restorative Justice/peace-making project with the Jackson Virtual and Options School.
